May 2nd in Shandong province, the Tiger Muay Thai Kungfu Club will send four fighters to compete in China's second K-1 kickboxing event. The first was held last year in Inner Mongolia.
The competitors will include a who's who list of China's top sanda fighters. To rise to the occasion, Nick Liu of Tiger Muay Thai has put together an elite training camp with a top team of coaches from the various striking disciplines including sanda, Muay Thai, and western boxing.
I will be putting MMA on the backburner for a while to train for this event myself. What's more, Luck" Chanon Sinsub, former Thailand Lumpini stadium champion, holder of 3 title belts, and head Thai boxing coach at the Tiger gym, will be fighting as well.
